Expansion Completed
Hello from inside Vortex Books & Comics. Not only is the new annex up and running, but the rest of the store’s expansion is now finished. Things will no doubt look a little bit different the next time you stop in. We now have a bigger back-issue comics, section, a bigger gaming section, a bigger manga section, a bigger trade paperback and graphic novel section, and a bigger nonfiction section.
If that wasn’t reason enough to drop by, we’ve got New York Times bestselling author Chuck Wendig (Star Wars: Aftermath trilogy) and indie poet Jessica McHugh here this Saturday, July 27. The Q&A with them begins at 1pm sharp, after which they’ll be happy to sign books for you. We have plenty of their books in the store. You may also bring books from home to be signed.
And of course, this Sunday it’s Magic the Gathering from noon until 4pm.
