Pop Up Store and New Arrivals
Hello from Brian and Mary of Vortex Books & Comics. Thanks for the gangbusters business you’ve given our online store the past two months! If you’ve missed seeing us at the physical store, we have good news.
Vortex will be at Creature Feature Weekend, a convention being held at the Wyndham in Gettysburg, March 20 through the 22nd. Look for Brian in the Celebrity Room of the hotel, and you’ll find us. Half the table will be books and comics from the store. The other half will be books and comics written by us (which we are happy to sign). For full details on the convention, click here.
We’ve got a bunch of new books added to the online store inventory — including ones signed by Wrath James White, Shane McKenzie, and V Castro. In the coming days, we’ll have more by them, as well as signed books from Gemma Amor, John Durgin, and many more.
We are also happy to report that all preorders for TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME have now shipped. The last batch will go in the mail today, right after this email gets sent. If you didn’t preorder, that’s okay. We have plenty of copies in stock. (The book is also on sale wherever books are sold, but those are all unsigned copies).
